After intensive preparation, Emil Frey Racing heads into the third round of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup at the Misano World Circuit. The legendary track on Italy's Adriatic coast is known for its technical challenges and demands utmost precision from drivers. A special highlight awaits, just like last year: the atmospheric night race on Saturday evening (starting at 8:15 pm), creating a unique scene as the sun sets.

The Swiss team will once again line up with two Ferrari 296 GT3s, eager to put the knowledge gained from previous rounds to good use - on Ferrari’s home turf. The 4.23-kilometre-long circuit combines tight, technically demanding corners with a middle section characterised by faster passages and flowing direction changes, including the rapid turn 11 (“Curvone”).

Emil Frey Racing has ambitious goals for the weekend: following a podium finish last year, the team aims for more top results and to collect important points for both the overall and Gold Cup standings. Anticipations are high, as Misano has proven to be a friendly battleground for the Swiss squad in the past.

The third round of the GT World Challenge Sprint Cup takes place from 18th to 20th July 2025 at Misano, Italy. In addition to the Saturday night race (starting at 8:15 pm), another sprint race is scheduled for Sunday (start at 2:45 pm). "I can’t wait to get back on the grid for the GTWC Sprint and to keep pushing at the front together with Thierry. Racing at night will be something special for us this year, but I’m excited for the challenge!"
