Press release

Emil Frey Racing faces fourth DTM round

📌 Fast Facts 📌

Emil Frey Racing travels to the traditional Norisring for the fourth round of the DTM season. After solid performances in the races so far, including a race victory by Jack Aitken, the Swiss team is looking to score more important points with its three Ferrari 296 GT3s. Following Jack Aitken's Pole Position last year, the team is confident about the upcoming race weekend, also because Jack Aitken, Thierry Vermeulen and Ben Green have proven their speed on several occasions recently.

Emil Frey Racing is all set for the fourth round of the 2025 DTM season, which also marks the halfway point of the championship. A challenging but also promising race weekend awaits the Swiss team at the tradition-steeped Norisring. Currently in fifth place in the team standings, the three Ferrari 296 GT3s will be looking to collect more valuable points on the street circuit around the Dutzendteich.

The 2,162-meter short Norisring is one of the most distinctive tracks on the DTM calendar. The tight street circuit with its hard braking points and small run-off areas demands maximum concentration - from both the drivers as well as the entire team. It is not without reason that the Norisring is nicknamed the “Franconian Monaco”. Emil Frey Racing was able to prove its potential there last year with a Pole Position - even if the race itself did not go as hoped. The goal for this year is clear: a flawless team performance over the entire weekend and to collect as many championship points as possible for the driver and team standings.

After consistently solid performances so far this season - including a victory for Jack Aitken at the Lausitzring - the team travels to Nuremberg with a healthy dose of confidence. Thierry Vermeulen and Ben Green have also proven their competitiveness several times in recent races. The conditions are in place to write another chapter in a stable season so far at the Norisring.

The fourth round on the DTM calendar marks the end of the first half of the season and takes place on the unique street circuit in Nuremberg from 4th until 6th July 2025. As always, the one-hour races will be broadcast on the DTM YouTube channel and live on TV in Germany on Saturday and Sunday at 13:30 on ProSieben. Joyn and ran.de will also be showing the races live. In Austria, the races will also be shown live on Servus TV.
