At the halfway point of the DTM calendar, Emil Frey Racing travels to the tradition-steeped Nürburgring for the fifth round of the season. After the convincing performances and the positive results at the Norisring, the goal is clear: to use the momentum and build on the consistent points haul in order to remain at the top of the championship.

Jack Aitken has been a model of consistency this season: the Brit has always finished in the points in the last eight races and is currently fourth in the drivers' standings, just eight points behind the leader. Many things remain possible in the championship, which is still wide open.

The last DTM race at the Norisring impressively demonstrated the potential of the Swiss team: Thierry Vermeulen shone with a third place and was able to celebrate his first podium of the year. Ben Green also secured important points for the team with a strong sixth place, consolidating his position in the team standings.

The motorsport circus moves to the Eifel for the fifth round of the DTM calendar from 08th until 10th August 2025 - fans can look forward to a weekend full of excitement and racing action at the Nürburgring.

DRIVER QUOTES - Emil Frey Racing
Jack Aitken
 (Great Britain)
"The Nürburgring is an icon, and many fans come to the DTM weekend every year, so it's always nice to drive there. We want to maintain our form and continue to consistently finish in the points, but of course also hope for another win. If you look at the last few years, we haven't necessarily been the strongest at the Nürburgring, but if you look at our performance this year, I'm optimistic."

Thierry Vermeulen (The Netherlands)
"The last races were very positive for us, and we had already completed a very good test there, so I'm very motivated to finish on the podium again. I feel very comfortable in the DTM and am looking forward to the weekend."

Ben Green (Great Britain)
"I'm really looking forward to the race at the Nürburgring. I love the track and can't wait to race there, especially with so many local fans at the track."
